This hotel is mostly good. The roof is fun and the food is nice. The dogged following of old design isn’t restricted to just the look but also to amenities. The shower is old and annoying, the plugs are limited and behind cupboards and a lot of lights require you to go to them and turn them off rather than having a master switch by the bed and door made further infuriating by the fact that they are all turned on by housekeeping everyday. It needs an overhaul for modernisation that you expect in a decent hotel keeping the look the same.

So so so good. Great staff (Rachel went out of her way to help us), cool soon and a super fun environment to relax. The rooftop pool is next level fun day and night. Yes, the pool is 24/7 and becomes a fun party at night.

Stayed at Petit Ermitage for 6 nights. The place is a gem in LA. You feel like you’ve been transported in to another country when your there. I love the whole whimsical vibe this place has. The staff are all super friendly and professional as well! My favourite part of this hotel is definitely the rooftop restaurant and pool! The atmosphere out there really makes you feel like you’re in your own sanctuary! I highly recommend this place for people who don’t want to stay at a typical hotel and want to be brought in to a fantasy land. The beds and pillows were super comfy too! Will definitely be back!

I have always rated a hotel by the obvious things; Cleanliness, Service, Look! You know the drill! This hotel has all of those in spades by 10x!! So take the nicest hotel you have ever been to and then add the nicest people at every level! I mean everyone! It’s like having family; only the ones you really really like! This is an experience you must have! When we come to LA, we will never stay anywhere else….Ever! I have traveled the world, and this by far is my favorite place to be!!!

Rooms are absolutely terrible. They claim it's old school chic, but it's really just run down motel rooms masquerading as something cool. I'd rather stay at a Holiday Inn. Pool is decent, but for this price there are way nicer pools.

I love it here. I wonder if I can live here full time. A private oasis in the middle of West Hollywood that makes you feel like magic is possible. A beautiful rooftop pool with cabanas open 24hrs and a unique decor with cheeky messages make this place feel like you’ve stepped into a sophisticated grown-up fairy tale. There’s nothing else like it and that’s the point.

When we arrived we were welcome with valet opening the doors and taking our luggage to the front desk, very nice. Then check in they welcome you with a glass of sparking wine and a cookie, nice again. And the rest of the stay was quiet, peaceful, great room service and I would come again to escape and relax. Great Place!

The hotel is located in West Hollywood and it’s close to popular destinations, like Beverly Hills, Sunset strip and Melrose place among a few. Right from the moment you arrive, it gives a mysterious vibe and it reminds of small European boutique hotels. They have a beautiful rooftop and quirky entertainment/ events happening every evening. We have seen poker tournaments, listened to piano and had tarot readings under the stars, surrounded by cute decorative lights and big flames, which gave the rooftop a spectacle atmosphere. I also liked the drawings in the stairwell and lots of paintings in the hallway. The pool is on the small size, but the outdoor yoga was nice and the instructor was great.
